TIR cable
The definition TIR stands for "Transport International de Marchandises par la Route" and it actually is a Customs Agreement concerning the international transport of goods. TIR-cable is used on open-top containers and in the tarpaulin industry. Our TIR-cable is produced completely according to the directives of the TIR Convention of 1975.
Over the years, Roffelsen Plastics has specialised in the production of TIR-cables. Since we have our own cabling department we can produce the appropriate steel structure which is a key element of the cable. The core material is covered to a desired diameter of 6 or 8mm.
