Keder and plastic solid cable

Roffelsen has become a leading manufacturer of plastic solid cable for the industrial market. The solid cable is usually processed into keder and is produced in diameters from 2.5 mm to 14 mm, ranging in Shore A hardness from 65 to 90. Of course, the solid cable can be supplied in a desired packaging format.

Roffelsen Plastics has a large "Buss" compounding line. This allows raw materials to be modified so that for each application specific granulates can be used.

Keder serves as textile reinforcement for tarpaulins, canopies or tents. Roffelsen produces the solid cable that is used as a lining.

The solid cable is produced from PVC or EPDM depending on the desired characteristics.
