Anti-vandalism steel cable
for tarpaulins
Application
Increasingly transport companies have to deal with load thefts. Even if nothing has been stolen, the carrier is left behind with a cut up tarpaulin. Over time various methods have been developed to impede a tarpaulin from being cut up. One method is to attach steel cables on the inside, where you can choose the distance between the wires. Especially for this application Roffelsen Plastics has developed a plastic profile with a 1.5 mm steel wire inside.
Off course this product can be applied to any form of PVC screen. Think beside lorry side-curtains on for example: tent walls, advertising banners, market stands, attachment screens or fencing.
Insurance
In France and the UK this product has been approved as an anti-theft tool. In several other European countries discounts on insurance premium are given.
Specifications
The 1.5 mm galvanized steel wire is covered with plastic and is available in different colours. The 25 mm plastic band can be applied on the tarpaulin with almost any hot air welding machine. Because the cover is made from soft PVC it is extremely flexible which makes it extra suitable for the application.
